At Learning Lab’s Mommy and Me art classes, you and your child create art together with guidance from a knowledgeable teacher with 17 years of early childhood education experience. Your child will experiment with a variety of art materials and techniques, explore new textures, and improve fine motor skills all while having fun and bonding with you.

For this mommy and me art class, you and your little one will create holiday wreaths that you can hang up in your house to get into the holiday spirit. Together, you'll discover how to mix your own green color, paint using a variety of tools, and glue on fun decorations.

Join us for an autumn-themed yoga for kids class. Children will try fall yoga poses with our fun and dynamic certified yoga instructor and think about the wonders of the fall season. Parents will have an opportunity to register their children for future yoga classes at a discounted rate.

More About Yoga for Kids at Learning Lab - Yoga for Kids is a time for children to explore ways to use their bodies in a playful, noncompetitive, and supportive environment. Classes are led by a certified yoga instructor and help children to strengthen their bodies while also developing an understanding of their own emotions and thoughts through movement, breathing, and meditation. Learn about the Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, a Mexican holiday that begins on October 31st and ends on November 2nd. Then, learn how to draw and decorate a calavera, or a sugar skull, which is used in the celebration. This class is open to children ages 5 through 11. Preregistration is required.
