Learning Lab's after school enrichment program serves children in grades K through five. The program includes snack, homework help with two or more experienced staff members to support students, and an enrichment activity led by a teacher certified by the New York City Department of Education. Students participating in our after school enrichment program will not only receive academic support, but will also be challenged to think creatively and to solve problems through carefully planned enrichment activities. In addition, students will develop leadership skills, social skills, and their ability to work as part of a team. Class size is kept small in order to ensure that students receive sufficient attention and support.

After School Enrichment Program Dates

Our after school enrichment program will start on Sept. 6th and operates Monday through Friday throughout the school year except on public school holidays. Registration is currently open. You can register by emailing us at info@learninglabny.com.

Daily Schedule

Learning Lab's after school enrichment program runs Monday through Friday from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Each day, the program will follow the schedule below:

2:30 pm - 3:00 pm    Snack

3:00 pm - 4:45 pm    Homework Help/Academic Support & Enrichment

4:45 pm - 5:45 pm    Enrichment Activity

Pricing

Parents can choose how many days each week and which particular days they would like to have their children participate. Spots in the program are reserved upon payment and registration.

Price: $25.00 per day

Per Day Rate:

If you are unable to commit to a fixed schedule per semester, you can always check with us to see if we have space throughout the school year. However, spots are not guarantee.  

Price: $35 per day + pick-up fee if applicable

Pickup from P.S. 144 and Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Academy

Walking pickup is available for students that attend P.S. 144 (all days) and Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Academy (Wednesdays only at this time).

Cost: $3.00 per day 

Registration

To register, please email us at info@learninglabny.com with your child's name, grade level, and the days of the week you would like him or her to attend.

Late Pick Up

Parents are given a ten minute grace period after which fees will apply.

You will also need to make a nonrefundable $100 deposit per day based on the number of days your child will attend in a week. For example, if you would like to register your child for Mondays and Tuesdays, your deposit will be $200 or if you register your child for all five days, your deposit will be $500. The deposit will be applied to your invoice for the first quarter. Since spots in our program are limited, please be reminded that the deposit is nonrefundable. An invoice for the deposit will be sent to you after the after school registration form is completed. Once payment is received, your child's spot will be reserved for the upcoming school year.

Cancellations of Services

For the safety and welfare of all children attending programs at Learning Lab, we retain the right to terminate services for the following reasons:

  • The child’s behavior is destructive, uncontrollable, or threatening or violent to other children or staff members.

  • A parent/guardian refuses to pay tuition.
